Why support SI
Burma/Myanmar is undergoing a series of unprecedented changes and challenges. As a group of Burma/Myanmar natives - who have been privileged to have obtained higher education overseas, we are dedicated to informing and empowering our communities back home and beyond on fundamental topics such as seeking higher education, understanding public policymaking and rights and responsibilities of individual citizens in a multi-ethnic society, etc. Through our research and community empowerment initiatives, we work to provide critical analyses and training expertise on a range of pressing issues.
At a time when there are increasing and urgent needs for our skills and service, we face resource constraints that often prohibits us from accomplishing our commitments and restrain us from responding to a rapidly changing sociopolitical environment in Burma/Myanmar. Your support, financial or otherwise, will enable us to continue producing quality analysis and programs that yield results and shapes a better future for Burma/Myanmar.
